The Sefirot (related to the words: story, count and sapphire) are an important part of the study of Kabbalah. They are essentially key vocabulary words in understanding the language of the Kabbalah. 

The Sefirot are archetypal, metaphysical characteristics, or concepts, that together form a whole. From the Infinite came the Finite. The descent from one to another contains a detailed tradition of how and in what matter this world came into, what I enjoy referring to as, "exisdance". 

The Kabbalah includes an in-depth study of how the Sefirot 'hishtalshelu' - came to be - from the Ein Sof (Infinitude) of Hashem/ G-d to the physical experiential world we live in.

The following are some images and simple outlines that help us grasp the order of the Sefirot.
It is very important to understand that the figure is only a figure.
The Divine Whole is far, far beyond the physical, images, colors, shades or letters. 

The study of the Ten Sefirot is in itself a fascinating journey;

They can be used as a spring-board for inner work.

They can be used to see and learn about the bigger picture and the inter-connectivity of all.
